Vision
To establish a centralized national GIS platform in Bangladesh.
Mission

To coordinate GIS related activities among all GIS related Office/Department/Organization of Bangladesh.
To share GIS initiative for national interest with BGISP
To avoid overlapping and duplication of GIS work to avoid wastage of time and money.
To provide technical support among member organizations.
To communicate with different regional and international organizations like Asia-Pacific Spatial Data Structure (GISDI), International Steering Committee for Global mapping (ISCGM).
To support to different organization for preparing Meta Data.
To prepare a guideline for data archiving and sharing and establish data archiving and sharing infrastructure.
